vintage iPaulo

Yes, it’s true. A new iPaulo design is being rolled out. I’ve talked
about it many times, but always put it off till it was perfect. Well, I
gave up on ‘dat! Some links might not work, some old links are missing
completely, and the css/html isn’t actually standards compliant as it
once was while I worked on it. But I don’t care; I’ll fix all that
later. For now, Eat the orange!

Blogger seems to be in a slow phase. I’ve come to make updates several
times and the darn thing was just too slow. Anywho. If you want a
little interactive, flash music thang with swearing and a cool beat, gimpchimp is for you. For something complete different, check out this report about the practices of Monster.com.

I’m not happy. 1. I’ve been bad. iPaulo is stale, 2. I’m waiting 5
minutes per page for our 7 year old printer to output 1 lousy 1.3Mb
document, 3. Guad 🙂 Spot
is putting iPaulo to shame. His low-bandwidth review are inspired. 4.
I’ve been sick for 2 weeks and I’m tired of it!

OKay. Ghosts of Mars is so bad it doesn’t deserve mention on IPaulo.
What does? A truly terrible review by Robert Ebert. Contrary what he
has to say, “the payoff is…” the movie doesn’t actually go on forever; it just seems to. Nough said. More than enough.

I’ve always known iPaulo needed more than one creative outlet for his blogging genius. After several failed attempts, I think I have found where to pour my extra creative juices thanks to Mr Entropy – teku.
My first post on teku was taken from an email I received. The
second-with a little syllable counting collaboration from Dirk-was an
original teku of my very own. I know you all come to iPaulo looking for
naked pictures, steamy tidbits, and gritty satire. You’ll just have to make due with Teku today.

Do you want to wire and network your house your self? PracticallyNetworked seems like a good resource.

oh, btw, the server patch went OK. Needed a new nic, but otherwise it was good. does seem to have fixed the bad mojo.

55% and still going. Right. This Schism guy
may not be a web designer, but he sure hangs out with people who look
like they could be! Nonetheless, in his first two weeks of blogging,
he’s done some fine work. Check it out when you are waiting what seems
like 12 hours for a 150Mb patch to install on a server.

Ok. Netware 5.0 Service Pack 6a takes forever
to install… So I’ve got a little time here at work with nothing to do
but babysit a machine. Mystically, I was drawn to learn about “Elvisology– our term for historical and statistical information concerning the life and career of Elvis Presley.” How special.
