Saw Godzilla 2000 this weekend.

Saw Godzilla 2000 this weekend. It was everything I expected. Classic,
funny, and cheezy. I won’t give anything away, but some of the lines
were truly historic. See this movie unless you think Godzilla is just a
guy in a rubber suit.

I’ve made a new friend

I’ve made a new friend by the name of Teddy. We take long peaceful
walks twice a day, eat together, read together. Pretty much everything
but sleep together. We’re fast becoming friends. Perhaps we’ll get to
that point at some point.

In case anyone was consumed

In case anyone was consumed with worry about the parity rebuild I just
mentioned, it finished successfully. You are free to go back to your
worry-free, adoring state of mind. Thank you and have a nice day.

My Adoring Fans

From email, “where, oh where, is iPaulo? Your adoring public wants to
know…” Your adoration warms my heart and gets me writing and linking
while I wait for a server to rebuild a stripe from parity. (adore that
geeky talk, eh?)

I know this is no excuse to neglect my fans, but I’ve been pretty
busy with work. Two fellow IT people have resigned, summer is the time
to get tons of stuff done around campus, yadda yadda yadda. Also, I may
have been tied up playing Deux Ex a little bit.

On a more serious note, Sir Alec Guiness’s death was a bummer. I
have never seen any of his early work, which is suppose to be
excellent. Ain’t it Cool news recommends seeing The Ladykillers, Kind Hearts and Coronets, or The Man in the White Suit. I think I’ll try to find Kind Hearts first since the esteemed John Bishop recommends it.

Okay, I’m back from my

Okay, I’m back from my rafting trip. Been back since Monday night. I
should write some details of the trip, but I don’t have time yet. At
the airport, I picked up a cool looking fantasy novel Green Rider,
which is turning out to be really good.
