Christmas in unrest, was gifted a Blood stained tunic. Don't let the name fool you, AC 13, WT 6, +4 wis, +4 agi, it is a cleric's dream. Not to mention it matches marvy with my auburn hair :).

So Dyrk, let me know if you want the bronze, I'll trade back for the banded. "Certain" people think I ought to have it for "special" occasions.

Using the EQ log parser (good find Mr E)? Edit your eqclient.ini. In the first couple lines there is a setting for turning logging on automatically.

For anyone thinking coming to visit Pylmax, I hope this will give you pause.

About two minutes later, I got a "RUN!!!" from him, but it was dark and I couldn't see a damn thing. By the time I zoned, and he zoned into WC [west commonlands] with me, he was at about 1/3 HPs. A 50th NECRO!

They are talking about Kithicor Forest, the first zone past the Commonlands on the way to the home of the barbarians. If you take this not as a warning, but a challenge, remember little Pylmax is only 6th circle and won't be adventuring with the mighty folk of Faydwer for some time.

EQ GQ -- Male Elf Model Pylmus Wows 'Em at Seaside Benefit Fashion Show.

Proceeds from the nights festivities went to charities such as "Heal the Barb", and "East Cabilis Conservation Society". The show featured newbie and lowbie attire from the Greater Faydark area. No Necromancers were invited because the show's organizers thought that the designs would look "just plain silly" on skeletons. There is no truth to the rumor that next year's show will be held in the Innothule Swamp.

Dyrk has been holding out!! eqAtlas is the key site for all eq hunters. This site is amazing. The maps are better than eqmaps.com, the zone hunting charts are great, and Ikpyl found lots of good info there on how to cope with the effects of being hated by everyone.

Mages who don't manage their mana can make adventuring a nightmare of inactivity.
Following Ish's request for assistance for the lovelorn Aremos, Dyrkelin joined a group comprised of 2 other mages, a cleric, a ranger, and a paladin. BAD GROUP COMPOSITION. There will be no experience when white conning baddies are overkilled by 6 PC and 3 pets. And 2/3 of our mages had the poor sense to nuke the moribund baddies until they were Out of Mana making the wait for the next pull interminable. Arg. Poor Aremos had to go and die again. Must be that broken heart....

LOVE ON EQ:
So this couple Bootse was running with was sickly sweet. "Can you find the orc lift Hun"?, "Can I carry some belts for you my love", "If they don't want us both in the group we shall go on our own". You get the picture. She a wild and fiesty Paladin, he a glowing knight in platemail. A perfect match, no? No... He revealed to me last night in chat that he made a deal for an engagement ring... supposed to be picked up and presented on Saturday. He was excited with anticipation, practicing his kneel, composing the perfect words when she announced to him that she was engaged to another!. A pesky wood elf, no less. What was a 12th level warrior to do? Stand at the chessboard sassing all types of pawns and royalty until he was 14th level. Purge his broken heart by bashing Basilisk. Finally, he is honoring his committment to purchase the ring and will then toss it to the sea. Alas, a tragedy. So I warn you to not only protect your backsides but your hearts.

Add three more character classes... Sicko, Pervert, and Pedophile.

Referring of course to an EQ character named Mystere who last year posted the following story on two different websites, one being the EQ Vault. The story explored role-playing of a Dark Elf who tortured/sexually assaulted other characters at an adolescent age. Mystere was summarily banned from EQ once Sony/Verant got wind of the story.

The EQ player community in large part defends Mystere's story and rants against Sony's banning of Mystere. They actually have the nerve to site freedom of speach, and go so far as to compare Sony to those who burn books and persecute those for personal beliefs. In fact, Sony/Verant has every right, and actually the responsibility to keep it's product and name disassociated with such filth. Sony owns the characters, therefore when one reveals his penchant for torture, rape, and pedophilia they MUST act and do so swiftly.

Next time you meet another character or are asked to join a guild consider the kinds of people you're associating yourself with. I've sent this story and it's references to several faith based organizations and family activists. I've been assured that there will be a constant and vigilant monitoring of this haven for scum that threatens the very fabric of our society.

Speaking of taunt.. Let's say I'm with a caster and we're surrounded. I have trouble fighting one beast, quickly taunting a monster off the caster, and then going back to the first beast. If the ground is already littered with corpses, it can be difficult to pick the right beasts quickly. I saw in /help last night you can turn off corpses. Maybe a corpse toggle would be a useful macro to have at the ready.

Actually, some of those comics are funny Mr. Grand PuhBah. Thanks for posting those. On the addict side of things, I read a combat strategy guide Dyrk found and really liked it. The group suggestions could really help us. Pylmax had read about taunt in a warrior guide. I have been trying to use it combat, but it wasn't improving. Asked another warrior and put it together that I'd forgotten to put the all important first practice point into it. Did that at 5th. While going from 5th circle to 1 bubble from 6th, I got my taunt from 1 to 28. I can pretty consistently taunt pokey creatures onto me.

The dwarven Paladin Truehammer weilds a mighty magic axe and enters the formidable orcish stronghold Crushbone with his friends Dyrkelin, Kay, and Ishandra. Together they slay many orc scum and liberate the free peoples. Truehammer also spends time with his "Kindred" Xaliria and Luvienn, furthering the cause of goodness and light.

The man pleads guilty to aggravated manslaughter and is sentenced to 15 years in prison. As his 9-month-old son cried last July, Tony Lamont Bragg Sr.'s mind was on something else: a computer game called Everquest. Authorities believe Bragg squeezed Tony Jr. to keep him quiet, then left him unattended in a utility closet in their Temple Terrace apartment for more than 24 hours. The boy died.

That's right puppies. EQ kills.
