And now we're going through a trial phase where several of us try Dark Age of Camelot. The graphics are great! Unlike EQ, 1st and 3rd person are both very usable. Let's people who get dizzy use 3rd without a handicap. I actually find 3rd person to some extent better than 1st. You get to see more of the amazing graphics. You can stare at the stars (which I beautiful!) while you fight and still see what's going on. Also, while the DAoC skill system (as opposed to EQ's rigid class system) makes characters less interchangable in groups, it also gives players flexibility and uniqueness. I think that's a plus overall. After 2 hours of frustrating gameplay adjusting to the bad parts of DAoC's interface and another 6 pleasant hours or so in game, I'm going to give it a big newbie thumbs up. I'll see what I think when I get killed for the first time by maruaders from another realm.
