Saw Spirited Away
this weekend at the El Cap. What a great movie! Better than anything
coming out of disney feature animation or dreamworks animation in a
long, long time. Definitely need to start a quest to see more Hayao Miyazaki work.

Can you feel it? Hockey season is about to start. Even at UCLA. Go Bruins! USC, ick! Where the only good Bruins are in Boston. Please…

Have you heard I met Pei Pei last night?

Suzy’s Q is hosting KGB Trio this Friday. Great beard,
great name. We wimped out (wisely! we’d only had 2 or 3 classes) and
didn’t go the first time we found out about this nearby Masonic Lodge
which turns into a hopping dance spot every Friday. Now, we’ve been to
9 classes and feeling cocky. Plus, several people in class highly
recommended the Suzy Q vibe for swingers-in-training like us.

Wrapping up watching The Commitments and Andrew Strong
is getting his arse whipped by the drummer. What a sad ending to a
great movie (and a great band). But at least I found his website and
the site for my favorite female singer from the movie, Maria Doyle Kennedy.

Got an email today with the subject Don’t even THINK of copying this… from someone named Help. Um, why do spammers even bother? Talking to my mail client, I said the message really should be named Don’t even THINK of opening this…

Updated my movie reviews. I was reminded by Thom that my reviews are terrible for PDAs (non-color browsers) and the color blind, so I need to fix that. I also added a new little sidebar link called goto another blog.

I came across sharky, which is a funny geek oriented collection of things helpdesks, sys admins, etc have heard on the job.
