Saw Spirited Away this weekend at the El Cap. What a great movie! Better than anything coming out of disney feature animation or dreamworks animation in a long, long time. Definitely need to start a quest to see more Hayao Miyazaki work.

Suzy's Q is hosting KGB Trio this Friday. Great beard, great name. We wimped out (wisely! we'd only had 2 or 3 classes) and didn't go the first time we found out about this nearby Masonic Lodge which turns into a hopping dance spot every Friday. Now, we've been to 9 classes and feeling cocky. Plus, several people in class highly recommended the Suzy Q vibe for swingers-in-training like us.

Wrapping up watching The Commitments and Andrew Strong is getting his arse whipped by the drummer. What a sad ending to a great movie (and a great band). But at least I found his website and the site for my favorite female singer from the movie, Maria Doyle Kennedy.

Updated my movie reviews. I was reminded by Thom that my reviews are terrible for PDAs (non-color browsers) and the color blind, so I need to fix that. I also added a new little sidebar link called goto another blog.
