I'm right there with ya, sir. Sandy and I saw this last night. CZJ was, in fact, unsympathetic. Couldn't feel sorry for her at all. Overall it was pleasant with good laughs as you say, but some of the stuff intended to be most highly feel-good was kinda corny and simplistic. I liked the parts where Tom's ingenuity came through best, and found Stanley Tucci's character a somewhat amateurish cartoon cutout of the stereotypical Bad Guy (that didn't have to be). Ho hum.
