Created another blog
today. Although it is using the plain blogspot template and I want to
move it to iPaulo soon, I wanted to post it here too. The first day had
a memorable post from Mike which I think really set the tone for the
blog. It’s EQwidows vs the Addicts.

Oh, in the photo below

Oh, in the photo below (click the image for more), that’s Gary (left)
and a French Pot (right). A french pot is used in the making of hand
made ice cream. I didn’t understand this at all since it has a motor but heck… it’s Ohio. Go Bucks!

It’s been a great

It’s
been a great stay. It was a good feeling going to bed every night with
a smile, although last night the smile didn’t last quite as long
because we were leaving in the morning. Plans have been made to visit
again, including the two of them coming out to see the folks in LA.
Well, Jeff is about to leave for work.. Better say goodbye.

I was going to post

I was going to post people pictures, but decided I’d rather spend the
time with the Gary and Jeff than in the computer room editing pics.
Wait till tomorrow. In the mean time, I’m going to blatantly bookmark
www.photoshopusers.com and www.mactoday.com–both excellent sites about
graphic design type stuff. The july/august issue of mactoday has a good
article on large format printing.

I was going to post

I was going to post a couple more pictures, but I realized at the last
possible moment they don’t have any people in them. So, I’ll wait until
I have some people to show you…

Wow. What a couple days

Wow. What a couple days we’ve had in Columbus. As I said the other day,
the weather isn’t as cold as we expected. My long undergarments have
gone completely unused in my bag. The Ducks’ loss to the Blue Jackets
hit Mike especially hard. Fortunately, Stinger the BJ’s mascot followed
us home and was able to console Mike in the front yard
(kudos to jeff for the photoshop work!). Today we had brunch and drove
around to see the hot tourists spots of Ohio, including the concrete
corn field.

Then we ventured forth again and touched old Leatherface. Then we stood on his head and yelled Go Bucks! A moment of relaxation watching some ducks and geese and we were outta there!
